The Chinese name of our school literally means “Joy”, which demonstrates our objective to produce bright and happy children. Our curriculum is based on the teaching philosophy of “holistic development” and “joyful learning”, and uses familiar everyday-life topics in all areas of learning. By emphasizing a child-oriented approach, this method of education can nurture children’s interest in learning and help them build positive values and attitudes, laying the foundation for lifelong learning. Children are inspired in our school to learn through personal exploration and practice. We encourage children to think and ask questions, thus enhancing their problem-solving skills, which in turn improves their self-confidence and self-care.
Our school is also committed to developing good character and healthy habits in our children, helping them to understand themselves, develop their physical fitness, and experience and appreciate life from an early age. Children in our school learn to care for others, make good use of community resources, and give back to society. We aim to help children develop their moral, intellectual, physical, social, and aesthetic qualities in a holistic and personal manner, so that they will grow up to be caring and happy young citizens.
